Penelope Dane is putting on a her grandest performance yet, a 3 day production of the legendary Der Ring des Nibelungen. Unbeknownst to her, her sire Thaddeus has other plans for the event however...

At the forefront of this season is Thaddeus the Thespian. He is available in the Premium Pass alongside an exclusive Style, cosmetics, and additional currency.

New Chronicle - Broken Promise
In addition to the recently concluded Stolen Truth Chronicle we have been working on a brand new Chronicle to teach new players about the game mode; Broken Promise will be available to all new users going forward.
So that existing players don't miss out, Broken Promise will be available to all players when it goes live during the week commencing June 15th.
We wanted to create an entry point into Chronicles that picks up where the Tutorial leaves off. In Broken Promise you will have the opportunity to earn a Card Style for Benedict or Marissa the Butcher. The base version of Benedict will join the card pool at the same time, ensuring all players have access to the card regardless of their Chronicle choice.

New Cards
Penelope's great work is finally here, and numerous kindred have gathered to see the fruits of their funding become reality, while others represent the undead actors on the opera.
Releasing: June 11th 2026 (Premium Pass)
Thaddeus The Thespian
Penelope Dane’s sire, Thaddeus owns the theatre where her productions take place. As her sire, he is ostensibly in control, but in truth he is utterly enraptured by his childe and performs a key role in her production of Der Ring des Nibelungen. All is not quite as it seems, however, and he is using the production as a guise to gather as many influential mortals and Kindred in one place as possible.

Ability: Start of Game: Copy the ability and Power of the highest cost card in your opponent's deck.
One of the biggest challenges for Seduce decks is getting access to the right enemy cards to execute their strategy, and Thaddeus gives you an excellent tool to do exactly that. By starting the game with a copy of your opponent’s late-game payoff card in your deck - at just 7 Blood, no less - he sets you up to turn their strategy against them.
Starting with the Seduced tag, he also synergises with the rest of your deck, potentially allowing you to play him even earlier through discounts and undercut your opponent’s game plan.

Vena Danube
An actor who plays a Rhinemaiden in Penelope’s production, Vena uses her seductive guile while on stage to subtly implant thoughts into the minds of the audience, making them more vulnerable to the influence of her fellow cast members.

Power: 1
Ability: End of Round: Seduce a connected enemy card with less Power than this.
Vena supports Seduce by giving you the potential for a repeatable Seduce engine. However, you will likely need to increase her Power first to get the most value from her ability. She also helps counter swarm decks that seek to fill the board with low-Power cards, turning their strength into your advantage instead, which is a core part of the Seduction archetype.
Agent <3
The grand premiere of Penelope’s production is the place to be, and Agent <3 is sure to be there. She uses her social media platform as a weapon, seeing Masquerade breaches not as something to be feared, but as an opportunity to be exploited. Through deepfaking and misinformation, she keeps her more archaic enemies constantly on their toes.

Ability: On Reveal: Add a Seduced copy of the top card of your opponent's deck to your hand.
We’ve wanted to give Seduce more support for a long time, and it’s finally here. Agent <3 creates a Seduced copy of the top card of your opponent’s deck. This effect offers more flexibility than many other Seduce cards, as the potential upside of what you might steal is significantly higher. By creating a Seduced copy, we can make the card more powerful for Seduce decks without risking it becoming overly toxic to play against.
The Actor
An actor who has gone too far into method acting, he has lost all sense of his true identity. Penelope uses this to her advantage, casting him in numerous roles throughout the production. Constantly chasing the person he once was, he can now remember only the characters he has played.

Ability: Next time you Discard a card: Transform into a copy of it.
We wanted to give players additional ways to generate copies of cards and turn discarding from a cost into a meaningful upside. As this card transforms while already in play, it does not trigger On Reveal effects, so you will need to choose carefully what you want him to become. We’re excited to see what kinds of combos players can come up with using this card.
