Blood & Bones - Chronicle Act 2 Announcement

Hiromitsu and Balthasar compete for favour... And the mysteries contained within a Mithraeum... Friday 23rd October 12:00 BST!

The feud ignited by the clash at the Chantry is being abused...
In Blood and Bones Act I, Hiromitsu Asano entered the Chantry and drew the ire of Balthasar Godley. He was there with good(?) intentions, attempting to secure allies for his ambitious plans in London, but the Tremere Regent saw through this, knowing that he would be taken advantage of. Now, Richard De Worde has caught wind of this rift, and is pitting the two individuals against each other, for his own personal gain...
Hiromitsu Asano and Balthasar Godley's feud has caught Richard De Worde's attention. He senses an opportunity to be exploited, and a potential ally to be recruited. In the Mithraeum beneath Eugene's Video Store there is a dark secret, a nameless horror trapped by Mithras centuries ago. Great prestige and influence await whoever can overcome this great and terrible creature. It will secure them a place at Richard's side in the new London order when he makes his bid to become Prince.
Catherine Deacons is actively threatening Richard De Worde, who she believes to be the Shadow King. Ever the opportunist, he sees this as his chance to make a bid to become the new Prince of London, and he's going to need allies to pull it off. Knowing about the secret beneath Eugene's Video Store, he's pitting two rivals against each other, with the victor earning a place as his ally in the war to come.
As always, you decide the outcome. Who will successfully overcome the Abomination and discover the secrets contained within? Who will Richard place at his side?
Influence the Story
Choose your side:
Hecata
Hiromitsu could benefit from advanced information courtesy of Richard De Worde.
If Hecata win, a new Hecata card will be released with the ability: "When a card is murdered: Gain +2 Power and move to a connected empty or enemy space."
VS
Tremere
Think what the Chantry could achieve if given access to the power of the Mithraeum.
If Tremere win, a new Tremere card will be released with the ability: "On Reveal: Cards connected to this cannot give Support next turn."
Chronicle gameplay
Get ready for something a little bit... different. Deep in the caverns beneath Eugene's Video Store, the Mithraeum holds an ancient secret... a nameless horror, which we have dubbed 'The Abomination'.
The Abomination starts in the Prince space. This horrific and ancient entity is more than a single card could ever encapsulate though, so it Summons 'Emanations' of itself at the end of every round. 'Emanations' in turn summon 'Vestiges' at the start of the subsequent round.
There is no regular scoring in this Chronicle, and the opponent plays no cards. This is all about taking down the monster before you.
Scoring works as follows:
Vestiges score 1 Point at the end of each round. Defeat them to score 3 Points.
Emanations score 2 Points at the end of each round. Defeat them to score 6 Points.
The Abomination scores 3 Points at the end of each round. Defeat it to score 30 Points!
Both defeat and murder will trigger the Points scoring, so murder away!
Beware though - as The Abomination and Emanations are taken out, they'll react by summoning more versions of their gribbly selves.
Good luck out there... and Happy Halloween!
