Seasonal cards

As part of The Grand Auction Season we are releasing another six new Cards over the the next two weeks! These Cards will be be available through packs in the Shard Shop.

New Cards - Available 19th March

Wayne Stahl

Works on behalf of the Auctioneer to drive up the price of bidding. With carefully placed phantom bids, he forces rival Kindred to pay far beyond the item’s true worth.

Key Card Information:

  • Series: 4

  • Blood: 3

  • Power: 1

  • Ability: End of Round: Give +2 Power to all your connected cards.

He gives you a very strong way to repeatedly stack Power, giving you both a lot of raw Power and many triggers for other abilities.

Mercedes

Totally and utterly self obsessed. She originally went the auction to buy a grand ornate mirror to stare at herself, however the contents of the vault have proven far more enticing.

Key Card Information:

  • Series: 3

  • Blood: 4

  • Power: 3

  • Ability: When this gains Power permanently: Gain +1 Power more.

Gains increased value from each buff, rewarding strategies that repeatedly apply Power boosts.

Yves Dubois

Mercedes childer, he's inherited much of her self-obsession. He attends the auction seeking a grotesque prize - a dress stitched from human skin.

Key Card Information:

  • Series: 5

  • Blood: 3

  • Power: 0

  • Ability: While in Play: This card has doubled Power.

Scales efficiently with buff effects. As a low-cost Elitist, he offers flexibility and strong payoff in buff-focused archetypes.

New Cards - Available 26th March

Lt Chamkaur Gupta

A mercenary loyal only to the highest bidder, sending his earnings back to his mortal family. Though tasked with guarding the vault, his loyalty can be bought - for the right price.

Key Card Information:

  • Series: 3

  • Blood: 3

  • Power: 7

  • Ability: On Reveal: Donate 2 Power to the highest Power enemy card.

An above curve Violent card, with a downside you'll have to mitigate. If you can prevent him losing Power or make use of the Power loss, he provides excellent value for his cost.

The Auctioneer

The Auctioneer is a legendary and terrifying figure in the Kindred world. Should your bid be deemed unworthy, he will personally ensure you destruction.

Key Card Information:

  • Series: 4

  • Blood: 4

  • Power: 5

  • Ability: Murder the next 3 or less cost card each player reveals. (Before any other ability applies)

A hate piece to eliminate those pesky high synergy 2/3 drops, get rewarded for running higher cost cards while undoing your opponent's tempo.

Victor Chang

A ruthless crime lord who seized control of Soho’s Chinatown triads. He built his empire selling opioid-laced mortal blood to other Kindred - and has brought some of his most potent stock to auction.

Key Card Information:

  • Series: 4

  • Blood: 4

  • Power: 6

  • Ability: Inflict -5 Power on the next card each player reveals.

Gives a double-sided debuff, creating significant power swings when combined with the right synergies.

What is the difference between a vault and a gilded vault? I opened my first gilded vault and got 100 blood shards. I've gotten better out of a regular vault.

They have cosmetics as well. Honestly as a day 1 player, you do get access to series 4 and 5 cards but it’s a couple per month. Not too bad but I wish there was a way to pick what you wanted

Yeah. I'm going to see if the next season is any good. If it doesn't interest me, I'm done. I've spent $25 on this game because I love The World of Darkness by White Wolf but I'm not going to be bled dry with the ridiculous cost of these card packs.

ONE Series V card pack costs $74.99 worth of blood shards. That's fucking outrageous!

You don't know how much I hate playing this game right now. I now understand when a professional poker player has a bad run of cards but that's almost every game I play now.
