STOLEN TRUTH - Chronicle Announcement

As the dust settles, secrets emerge, trade hands, and some are stolen. Decide the fate of London's future!

It's that time again, our next PvE event kicks off on 5th June 2026 at 11AM UTC!

Let's recall the events of 'A Party to Remember' which saw the Malkavians successfully stage an enormously wild party to celebrate the newfound freedom of London's kindred (check that out here), and the events of the Grand Auction that saw the contents of Queen Anne's vault sold to the highest bidder (results here).

In the aftermath of these events, vampires are scrambling out of hiding and competing with one another to gather the necessary information they need to further their undead ambitions in London (from which Octavia is of course profiting immensely due to her control of the Vault).

One particularly interesting secret has been "acquired" by a young Nosferatu named Whisper at the behest of his sire, Eugene. Unbeknownst to either of them, this particular secret has widespread implications, and vampires from all corners descend upon his last known location, all bent on their own goals. The secret is of particular interest to Richard De Worde, the newly emerged Nosferatu Elder, as well as the notorious Dunsirn family of the Hecata. Both sides will stop at nothing to acquire this salient piece of knowledge.

Influence the Story

The tunnels beneath London form the backdrop for a shadowy power-struggle, in which clans trade unseen blows and seek to deceive the other...

The nooks and crannies of the tunnels mean even the loudest of vampires pass as if totally unseen. Some seem particularly uninvited, as if some other figure is making their own stab for the secret...

If Richard De Worde and the Nosferatu are successfully voted as winners by the players, they'll uncover the necessary means to oust the Dunsirn from one of their strongholds in Highgate Cemetery. The Location will change to be a Nosferatu owned Location, with the following modifier:

Unsupported cards cannot be murdered.

Should the Dunsirn and the Hecata be voted successful by you, they'll discover how to unearth the location of Richard De Worde's secret lair beneath London. Moving quickly, they'll immediately stage a takeover to loot the undoubtedly valuable contents. A new Hecata Location will emerge, with the following modifier:

At the end of each round, one unsupported card is murdered.

Chronicles Scoring

Chronicles games earn votes for your chosen side. The players are in charge and decide on the outcome of the story.

For those new to Chronicles, the score you post will be based on the highest level you complete, but beware, whenever you lose a Chronicle game, you'll lose a life. Losing all 3 lives resets you to difficulty 1, and you can start a new run.

Chronicle games now earn you rewards based on your progress and the number of wins you manage to achieve. Each side in the Chronicle comes with their own unique cosmetic rewards, while both sides give the same amount of currency. Think carefully before you pick your side!

New Token Cards and Gameplay

Games in this Chronicle take place in the tunnels beneath London. All enemy cards are obscured fully until you connect one of your own cards to them or Conflict with them. Additionally, three cards start in the opponent's Pawn spaces. Two of these cards are False Secrets, misleading pieces of information set to pull you off the trail of the remaining True Secret. Find and defeat this True Secret, and you'll score 15 Points.

You can score Points through any other means, but you will find you may need the Points from this True Secret to overcome the challenge set by the opponents... Additionally, all players will start with a copy of Richard De Worde in their central Pawn space, allowing all users to experience Richard in all of his glory!
