The Grand Auction Chronicle Announcement

We are pleased to announce Clans of London's next Chronicle:

The Grand Auction

We are running a brand new PvE story event in which you, the players, decided the outcome.

Find the event in-game starting 9th April 2026 at 11AM UTC.

Continuing from the events of the last Chronicle, The Heist at The Shard, the contents of Queen Anne's Vaults are up for grabs.

The contents of Queen Anne’s vault in the Shard have been supplied under the promise of anonymity by Boyar Mușat to the Grand Auction. The goal of the seller is to secure enough funds to topple Isaq Khan, the head of the ECTU - the Extraordinary Counter-Terrorism Unit.

Influence the Story

The lots are set. The most coveted? The former Prince Queen Anne’s secrets.

Octavia Mullcroft and Mercedes are the two major players who are interested in securing the lot of the Vault’s contents. They are engaged in a high-stakes bidding war, both possessing huge resources and indomitable will. Their motivations are their own but believe securring the prize will elevate their postitions.

Should Mercedes win, her sire Annabella will be most pleased. They’ll make use of the secrets gained to blackmail and instigate a takeover of The Strand. The Strand will change to be a Toreador owned Location, with a brand new modifier.

If Octavia is successful, she’ll share the spoils with Lady Gloria. Together they’ll seek to establish immunity by exploiting the newfound secrets. Battersea Power Station will change to be a Ventrue owned Location, with a brand new modifier.

New Scoring System

For this Chronicle we are implementing a new way to contribute scores - the score you post will be based on the highest level you complete, but beware, now whenever you lose a Chronicle game, you'll lose a life. Losing all 3 lives resets you to difficulty 1.

The change to scoring aligns us closer to our vision for Chronicles in the future, and should prevent a small number of players running away in points.

New Deck-Building Restrictions

To keep this Chronicle more thematic we are limiting the deck building space. In this Chronicle you must make decks from Ventrue and Toreador cards only, this is themed to the event and we still believe this gives plenty of options - we are excited to see what the winning strategy is this time.

New Token Cards:

Games in this Chronicle are heavily themed around The Auction. The Prince and Knight spaces do not score Points, instead, at the end of each round each team scores based on their highest Power card in play. To support this we have added a Token card for each player to start the game with:

• Enemy starts with the 'Auction Lot', which has the ability:

  • 'End of Round: Gain 1 Power'.

• The player starts with 'The Bid', which has the ability:

  • 'When a card in play gains Power permanently: Your lowest Power card in hand gains that much Power'.

Represent your side. Decide London’s fate.

Ventrue or Toreador - pick your side, and influence the story directly.
