The first part of the Shadow King's master plan has been set in motion. Those acting on their own wishes may still be pawns in its great game. Richard de Worde has taken new Domain, and his hunger for power grows. This is causing tensions to rise amongst the Camarilla, all as planned. Now, in this time of instability, is the time for his agents to act.

New Season Pass

At the forefront of this season are the Agents, first amongst them, fittingly, is Agent α. They are available in the Premium Pass, alongside an exclusive Style, cosmetics, and additional currency.

New Cards

This season, we are changing how we release cards. We will be releasing 8 cards this season, two every week of the four-week season.

In the first week, one new card will be available in the Season Pass, whilst the other will be available through the Shard Shop, unlocked by reaching Collection Level 500. Season Pass-exclusive cards always join the Shard Shop at the start of the next season.

The reduced card count will allow us to focus more on quality and on reducing ability bugs, whilst releasing an additional card at the start of the season means that players have access to more cards for any new archetype.

Releasing: September 3rd 2026

Agent α (Premium Pass)

Catherine Deacon's Childer, he has a lot of valuable information on his sire. He is a true believer that might makes right, and only wants to serve whoever has the greatest power. For decades, he believed that to be his sire, until a devastating cyber attack crippled her funds, if only for a short time. Now he follows the orchestrator of that attack and uses his mastery over Dominate to create new pawns to serve their grand plan.

Agent α gives you a powerful mid-to-late-game disruption tool to help hamper your opponent's strategy. Since he and his tokens can be played anywhere, you have a lot of choice over what you disrupt. His tokens also have the Vampire, Mortal and Violent tags, allowing them to capitalise on existing Violent and Mortal synergies and become very strong threats to your opponent.

Agent Δ

Agent Δ is an agent of chaos. She is obsessed with violence, destruction and injury, and uses the Shadow King's information network to incite violence and cause mayhem wherever she can. She has a prized collection of blood from her Kindred victims and cherishes each phial.

• Power: 1

• Ability: When an enemy card is Defeated or Discarded: Score 1 Point.
  

With Agent Δ, you gain a nice boost in scoring potential for any aggressive deck, while also slightly hating on Discard, which can often be a tough match-up for Violent-focused decks. Most of the time, Violent decks need a few extra points to push them over the edge, since while they have solid aggressive options, they don't score as quickly as swarm decks, nor do they have the staying power of Elitist decks.

Releasing: September 10th 2026

Agent ☹

A master hacker, she stumbled upon something unusual: thousands of small-scale but effective cyber attacks. Innocuous at first, they painted a picture of a single entity gathering and editing data across all reaches of mortal and Kindred society. Agent ☹ immediately became infatuated with this mystery attacker, eventually discovering it to be the Shadow King. She now works diligently as an agent, taking great joy in beating her records for time of attack.

• Ability: While in play: If your control the Prince space, Points from locations and card abilities are halved. (rounded up)
  

Agent ☹ gives you a strong tool to control combo decks. While there is an element of timing to using her properly, the ability to clamp down on your opponent's scoring potential can provide a very strong control effect. 'Controlling the Prince' simply means having a card there, even if that card is in Conflict, so if you are looking to counter a final-turn scoring option, you'll need to either have initiative (to Reveal a card as Prince first) or already have the Prince space from a previous turn.

Agent 1/2

Jax's Childe, he learned a lot about the Shadow King - too much, in fact. Now he serves as an agent in exchange for the continued safety of his sire. He has developed a highly volatile and experimental formula to force most of the Blood from his body into that of another, empowering them. He has infiltrated the ECTU, using his skills to help them silently tackle vampire threats.

• Ability: After you reveal your next card, donate all this card's Power it it.
  

Agent 1/2 gives you a massive concentration of Power in one place, allowing you to gain huge value from cards with strong abilities that scale off their Power. Since he's a thin-blood, and therefore has the Vampire and Mortal tags, you can also make use of the new caffeine powder from other thin-blood cards to massively buff him up while he's in hand.

New Locations

During the course of the Season we will be releasing new locations:

• Name: Prophet’s Emporium

  • Modifier: Preparatory Visions

  • Description: The leftmost card in your hand gains +1 Power each round.

• Name: Surveillance Centre

  • Modifier: Locked Down

  • Description: No Points are scored by the Prince.
