Rise of the Duskborn - Chronicle Act 2 Announcement

The Story Progresses: Act 2

This season, we've introduced Chronicles with multiple Acts. In Act 1, a thin-blood laboratory came under attack but was successfully defended. Well-armed and more galvanised than ever, the Duskborn are now preparing to mount a historic attack on Camarilla domain.

Natalya's computer, after a burst of static, suddenly displays several vulnerabilities left in the Shard's security system after the attempted Brujah heist. Seizing the opportunity to acquire an enormously influential territory, the Duskborn secretly move to attack. When they arrive, however, they are surprised to be joined by the Nosferatu who have received a similar tip - they decide to form a temporary alliance, as their forces combined they are more likely to succeed in overcoming the still formidable defences.

Richard, however, is an eternal schemer and would never voluntarily hand such a valuable domain to the Duskborn. He plans to betray them once their joint assault is successful.

Influence the Story

Choose your side:

Duskborn

Bolster the Duskborn's resolve and give them enough power to evade the betrayal, taking the domain for themselves.

If Duskborn win, the Shard will have the ability: "When a card uses an On Reveal ability, it scores 2 Points."

Nosferatu

Support Richard de Worde's treacherous scheme and help the Nosferatu take over the Shard as his new haven.

If Nosferatu win, the Shard will have the ability: "You can always play cards as Prince, even without Support."

Chronicle gameplay

In this event, you can always play cards as Knights, even without Support.

Additionally, Boyar Mușat returns to defend his control of the Shard. Your opponent starts with:

Protector Boyar Mușat - Protector of the Vault
- End of Round: Trigger your connected 'On Reveal' abilities.
Tremere Warding - Protection from Kindred
- On Reveal: Score 2 Points for each of your Acolytes in play.

On your side, Richard de Worde and Natalya Volkova will support your efforts to take over the new domain.

An outside figure may also lend you some assistance...

Chronicles Rewards

Chronicle games earn you rewards based on your progress and the number of wins you manage to achieve in your best run. Each side in the Chronicle comes with its own unique cosmetic rewards, while both sides give the same amount of currency. Think carefully before you pick your side!

For those new to Chronicles, the score you post will be based on the highest level you complete, but beware, whenever you lose a Chronicle game, you'll lose a life. Losing all 3 lives resets you to difficulty 1, and you can start a new run.

Choose your side and vote for the Duskborn or Nosferatu to take over the Shard.
