The Most Dangerous Game

Many vampires across London are exploiting the ever weakening ECTU. In previous seasons, the Nosferatu unearthed long-buried secrets, while the Toreador seduced their way into politics. Opportunistic Gangrel like the Queen Rat prefer a more direct approach.

While London's Inquisition still has to maintain the façade that there are no vampires in the city, the pressure is mounting.

New Season Pass

At the forefront of this season is The Queen Rat. She is available in the Premium Pass alongside an exclusive Style, cosmetics, and additional currency.

New Cards

Many of the cards in this season are connected to the ancient legend of the Queen Rat and her direct assault on London's Inquisition.

Releasing: July 9th 2026 (Premium Pass)

The Queen Rat

The Queen Rat is a legend, a tale passed down in folklore from the Victorian era. It is said she would appear before toshers (sewer scavengers) in the form of a beautiful woman and seduce them. Should they please her, they would be blessed; should they anger her, curses would befall them and their descendants. Such a reputation has drawn the inquisition to hunt her down many times before, but each time her swarm leaves barely a few bones behind.

• Ability: On Reveal: Create a Rat in an Empty Space. Before this loses a Conflict: Scurry away, next round re-form from one of your Rats. (if possible)

We wanted to give Gangrel some more persistent threats that capture the clan's survivability. The Queen Rat does exactly that - as long as you have Rats in play, she can return each time she is defeated. She also retains her stats as she vanishes and reappears, making her an excellent target for buffs.

R.O.U.S. (Rodent Of Unusual Size)

Suffering from a hormonal imbalance, she grew to a vast size, broke out of her pet cage, and now roams the streets of London. The Queen Rat took a great liking to her and adopted the R.O.U.S. as her own pet.

We haven't made any vanilla cards in a very long time. We also felt Gangrel often lacked a solid 1-cost card, which felt a little backwards for a swarm deck. With the R.O.U.S., you have a strong, synergistic turn-one play, as the card is both a Beast and a Rat, allowing it to benefit from a wide range of synergies.

Minne Chadwick

A young rodentologist, Minnie grew ever more disillusioned with the arrogance and disdain those around her held for rats. Now, after her Embrace, she makes sure everyone gets to experience just how wonderful they are first-hand!

• Ability: On Reveal: Shuffle a Rat (Beast) into each player's deck.

Combo decks have been fairly rampant for a long time, and while each has certain axes of counterplay, we wanted to give aggressive decks a more targeted tool to cause meaningful disruption by preventing them from drawing their combo pieces. This is a double-sided effect: while you dilute your own draws, you're likely much happier to get a Rat than your opponent is.

Wilhelm Hamm

He believes himself to be the grandchilde of the original Pied Piper and has maintained that legacy as best he can. Commanding swarms of rats to do the Queen Rat’s bidding, he hunts around sewer entrances, dragging the more inquisitive ECTU agents kicking and screaming into the muck.

• Ability: While in Play: Your Rats have +1 Power for each other Rat you have in play.

Wilhelm provides strong synergy for decks that run as many Rats as possible. By increasing your Rats' Power for each other Rat in play, he can turn a large swarm into a real threat in its own right.

  • Description: One Unsupported card is murdered at the end of each round.
